Cruise control delete, A/C delete, ghetto power steering delete, mountain bombardment lower or relocate it, relocate fuse box. That's about it without getting a CEL.

You tin can hide alot of things if you take the time to exercise it right. But some things have to be deleted to gratuitous the infinite.

how do you practice the power steering delete as for as keeping the easy going steering? :) or is that impossible? i heard bout moving the pump to where the a/c use to be is that true? and i guess we can add things with throwing the cel as well because i want to get the bay cleaned up and about the wire tuck i did that to my 1g and i only did it how i felt would wait nice and what not. should i go with that approach again or is there a skilful thread someone would recommend and is stuffing it in the passenger air purse spot a expert idea?

I think somebody fabricated a few manual racks for 2Gs, skillful luck finding one though. You'll merely wind upwards looping the lines together. Like I said, GHETTO.

If you don't mind CELs, look into deleting your EGR system. You tin can relocate the alternator, practise a full wire constrict, and you're pretty much set after that.

If I were to relocate my fuse box, I'd put it in the glove compartment.

After taking the cruise off, you can run the throttle cable down nether the IM.

Then y'all can accept the wire harness thats bolted to the IM, pull the hard plastic case off information technology, then constrict it under the fuel runway. That makes a pretty big departure to the overall appearance imo.

Prowl, emissions, a/c, alt relocate, fuse box relocate, etc.

I would non ditch PS on these cars. Instead await at the MR2 steering pump prepare up.

Some other proposition is become DSMlink, switch to SD which will eliminate the MAS and so you lot can too take care of those CEL codes.

SD is dandy for cleaning things up.

I've got a relocated Alt and MR2 steering pump, my bay looks pretty empty.

I dont suggest deleting the ability steering, it makes the motorcar very annoying to daily drive. The cruise and a/c are personal preference. When I bought my car all three of these things were gone and the only one I tin can personally alive without is the a/c.

Yes, I'll second on the electric p/southward conversion, but y'all better exist up for a challenge and accept your fab skills on par.

I havent finished my 2g all the same, merely I did the manual conversion to my steering rack which is supposed to give you a better experience than simply looping the lines.

I almost purchased a rack that a member had done the conversion, then big confusion and he shafted me, then i just did the conversion myself its a full piece of cake.

Blah grow a pair and pull the p/s. The engine bay will never expect make clean with the p/s in in that location. Yous tin loop information technology at the reservoir to keep fluid in the rack. Its really not fifty-fifty noticeable. Its zippo like driving with the chugalug off.

Ive heard its fifty-fifty better when y'all de-power it too.

So far Im sold on getting rid of mine.

That is true, its a pretty involved process though. I think giving the fluid somewhere to become when turning helps. From my agreement the fluid gets pushed back and forth through a valve and if you loop it at the rack your fighting against that motion.

Not 100% on that, but i know looping it at the rack and properly filling the reservoir makes it more then just bearable, even with a decent tire on information technology. With stockish tires i dont recollect you could actually tell the difference.

That helps, but human being that pump is an eye sore. I dont know, i guess its only me, merely i dont like bays with a p/s pump and the alt not relocated, just looks cluttered.
